Deprecated Communication Layer • Use Trezor Suite Instead
Trezor Bridge was a background service that enabled communication between your Trezor hardware wallet, Trezor Suite, and web browsers. It ran silently on Windows, macOS, and Linux, bridging USB restrictions imposed by modern browsers.
It allowed secure transaction signing, firmware updates, and account management without direct browser-to-device access.
Trezor has fully integrated Bridge functionality into Trezor Suite. The standalone version is no longer needed and may cause conflicts with future updates.
Running both can lead to connection failures, device recognition errors, or interrupted workflows.

macOS: Go to Applications → Utilities → TREZOR Bridge → uninstall.pkg
Windows: Program Files → TREZOR Bridge → uninstall.exe
Linux: Run in terminal:
sudo apt remove trezor-bridge
Download the latest Trezor Suite from trezor.io. It includes built-in Bridge functionality — no extra software needed.
Enjoy a unified, faster, and more secure experience.
