Trezor Bridge

Deprecated Communication Layer • Use Trezor Suite Instead

What is Trezor Bridge?

Trezor Bridge was a background service that enabled communication between your Trezor hardware wallet, Trezor Suite, and web browsers. It ran silently on Windows, macOS, and Linux, bridging USB restrictions imposed by modern browsers.

It allowed secure transaction signing, firmware updates, and account management without direct browser-to-device access.

Why Was It Deprecated?

Trezor has fully integrated Bridge functionality into Trezor Suite. The standalone version is no longer needed and may cause conflicts with future updates.

Running both can lead to connection failures, device recognition errors, or interrupted workflows.

Check If It's Running

Open your system monitor:

  • Windows: Task Manager → Look for trezord.exe
  • macOS: Activity Monitor → Search trezord
  • Linux: System Monitor → Find trezord-go

Status URL: http://127.0.0.1:21325/status/
